Election Twenty 11; an opportunity for change in Nigeria

It’s over 50 years we have been existing as an independent nation, but it so obvious that we have maintained less speed in terms of growth in leadership.
We have not achieved all that we are supposed to, considering the years we have spent as an independent nation.

[Leadership determines the height of an organization; therefore our poor leadership system has retained us on our present level.]

Igniting change is a proof of real leadership.
Nigeria has experienced low or no change in the following aspect that determine the growth of a nation. (education, oil and gas, banking, energy, transport, sport, health wise, technology, communication, employment, security, agriculture, e.t.c. )
Sometimes I ask myself, what has caused this slow delay in change?
The answer has been me and you…… surprised? ...... Yes, I mean you and me.

Leadership needs leaders to be practiced, and if am not making any mistake, we both voted in these set of people ( LGA Chairman, State Governors, NASS, President, and other Civil servant ) to lead us.
I solely think enough is a enough of this stagnant leadership.

Twenty eleven (2011) has come,
A time for change,
A time where we all have to say no to bad leadership, bad governance,
A time to ignite change in leadership, is an opportunity for change in Nigeria,
It’s a time where leaders will be elected based on competence and character,
A time where tribalism will not be the criteria for leadership,
A time where transparence and accountability will prevail,
A time for change, the future begins now, change is now.

Don’t sell your vote, don’t be a party to violence and tribalism.
Let’s examine the aspirants vying for public offices in the coming election: the picture they have for a new Nigeria needs to be shown to us, they need to table their promises and time limit for it, so when they fail to fulfill at the specific time limit, we recall them, it don’t just stop at the polling centers or after the election period, making change is a continual process.

It’s our right as citizens to pull out anybody that serves as a leader and not making change.
Its high-time we recognized and practice human right.
Nigeria is lagging behind; I feel pain when I realized we’ve lost our position as first in Africa.

Imagine marking the 50th anniversary of a nation with a bomb blast.
Imagine the importation of arms (13 containers of ammunitions) into the country because of the upcoming election.
Imagine the killing of fellow aspirant, imagine old men coming out to determine the future they wont be among (we need young mind).
Imagine the deployment of more than a thousand gross of graduate finding themselves jobless in various part of the country every year.
Imagine an endless list of unpleasant situations.

The change has no choice but to commence now, it begins with me and you, we determine the change by making the right decisions.
Nigeria needs a thinking leadership
God bless Nigeria - God bless you
